CLASSIFICATION OF PROCESSES

The three varieties of round bar are hot rolling, forging, and cold drawing. The hot rolled round bar standard ranges from 5.5 to 250mm. Among them are the following: 5.5-25 mm small round bars are frequently provided in bundles of straight bars, which are commonly used as steel bars, bolts, and different mechanical components; larger than 25 mm round bar is commonly used for manufacturing mechanical parts, seamless steel tube billets, and so on.

CLASSIFICATION OF CHEMICAL COMPOSITION

Based on its chemical makeup, carbon steel is divided into three types: low carbon steel, medium carbon steel, and high carbon steel (i.e. carbon content).

MEDIUM CARBON STEEL

The carbon content in carbon steel ranges from 0.25% to 0.60%. There are kilned steel, semi-killed steel, boiling steel, and other products available. It may include a trace of manganese (0.70% - 1.20%) in addition to carbon. Ordinary carbon structural steel and high-grade carbon structural steel are the two categories depending on their quality. Although hot working and cutting performance are great, welding performance is lacking.
